The Firefly Festive Forest - London’s largest artist-led Christmas Tree trail

 –

From mistletoe-bearing giraffes to illuminated butterflies the Firefly Festive Forest, London’s largest artist-led Christmas Tree trail, conceived by Quintessentially Foundation, comes to Sloane Street. This free outdoor art trail will feature more than 30 artist-designed Christmas tree sculptures, which will be auctioned to raise funds for the Foundation’s Firefly Project, that supports frontline charities working with disadvantaged children and young people across London.

Featuring original creations from leading names including Richard Hudson, Charlotte Colbert, Roksanda Ilinčić, Alison Jackson, Tom Faulkner, Charlotte Tilbury and Patrick Mavros, the public art trail will invite visitors to discover a collection of one-of-a-kind Christmas trees displayed along Sloane Street, stretching from Sloane Square to Knightsbridge.

Sloane Street decorated for the Firefly Festive Forest with an illuminated canopy creating a festive evening shopping atmosphere

Highlights include Colbert’s polished stainless-steel tree hung with lights, Alison Jackson’s mischievous celebrity scenes and a striking interpretation inspired by Brutalist architecture by leading fashion designer, Roksanda. Elsewhere, cascading white feathers will evoke freshly fallen snow, hundreds of interlocking aluminium stars celebrate togetherness, and a tree formed from one continuous thread of hand-knotted Himalayan wool and Indian silk draws on the folklore of communal trees, Not to mention the giraffe bearing mistletoe, a shimmering tree of illuminated butterflies and a Christmas imagined through the eyes of a Basset Hound.

Together, the works will transform the familiar Christmas tree into an unexpected celebration of imagination, craftsmanship and giving. The trees will be sold through an online auction to raise money for the Firefly Porject from 12th November to 1st December 2026.
