Big comedy names and close up laughs each week
Thursdays at The Trafalgar are reserved for laughter. Each week, the pub’s downstairs performance space hosts live comedy nights with a rotating line-up of sharp stand-up, familiar faces and rising talent.
The launch night set the tone, with Harry Hill, Emmy Award-winner Brett Goldstein, Catherine Bohart and Shalka Kurup all taking the stage. Since then, the calibre has only grown – with Kevin Bridges, Nish Kumar, Michelle de Swarte, Sara Pascoe, Ed Gamble and Ian Stirling appearing as part of the line up.
Whilst the names may impress, you can still expect big laughs without the big venue formality. It’s just the kind of night where you can arrive for a drink, stay for the comedy and then plan to return again the following week.
