Chelsea in Bloom

Chelsea in Bloom is back this May and this year it is going gloriously intergalactic. It’s a must-see moment and the start to the summer. Join us from 18–24 May when London’s largest free flower festival will transform the neighbourhood into a celestial playground, extending the magic of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show far beyond the showground and onto the streets.

Inspired by the 2026 theme Out of This World, retailers, restaurants and hotels across Chelsea will unveil spectacular floral installations filled with planets, constellations and cosmic storytelling. Expect a radiant Floral Zodiac in Sloane Square, Saturn in full floral splendour at Duke of York Square, and even a UFO hovering above Pavilion Road. This is Chelsea, but not quite as you know it.

At the heart of the festival is a friendly but fiercely creative competition. Displays will be judged by RHS Chelsea Flower Show judges alongside a panel of celebrity judges, while visitors are invited to have their say too, voting for the coveted People’s Choice award.

Free to explore and impossible to ignore, Chelsea in Bloom is a joyful collision of creativity, community and colour. Come for the flowers, stay for the atmosphere and prepare to look at Chelsea with fresh eyes and a slightly starrier outlook.
