Chelsea Art Market returns to Duke of York Square on Sunday 20 September, bringing together independent artists, makers and creative talent for a special edition marking the closing day of Chelsea Arts Festival.
From 11am to 5pm, the Square will transform into a lively open-air art market, with more than 35 independent artists showcasing original work across painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, illustration, ceramics and more. With pieces ranging from £5 to £500, there will be plenty to discover, whether you’re taking your first steps into buying art, searching for something special for your walls or simply looking for creative inspiration.
There’s more to the day than browsing. Visitors can meet the makers and hear the stories behind their work, get involved in hands-on creative workshops, and enjoy live music as Duke of York Square comes alive with creativity.
This special edition also provides a fitting finale to Chelsea Arts Festival, which runs from 16–20 September and celebrates modern storytelling across music, theatre, dance, film, podcasting, literature and the visual arts at venues and outdoor spaces across Chelsea.
So, whether you’re hoping to discover your new favourite artist, find a one-of-a-kind piece to take home or simply spend an afternoon surrounded by creativity, make a date with Chelsea Art Market this September.
