Over the past decade, this historic mews has been transformed from a collection of former stables and garages into a pedestrianised, village-style high street. The development began with a public consultation to understand the desires of the local community, with 75% saying that they would like to see more artisan, independent ‘useful’ shops. Previous garage and storage space was then converted into small shop units and Cadogan actively sought independent brands to become part of the community.
Pavilion Road is now home to a cheesemonger, butcher, ice cream shop, wine merchant, greengrocer, general store, barber, stationer, coffee shop, dry cleaner and fishmonger - a place where residents can shop for both everyday essentials and specialist goods. A raft of new independent brands has recently expanded Pavilion Road’s offer, including Pavilion Press, a dedicated destination for print and publishing, Pavilion Pooch, a luxury dog groomers, the Flower Bar florist, Chelsea Photos, Cadogan Pharmacy as well as a soon-to-be-announced bakery joining the existing mix of 20 independent businesses.

A large, stretched canvas print ready to hang on a wall from Chelsea Photos. The wooden framed canvas will be 20 x 30 inches, and the print image must belong to the winner or the winner must have a license release from the Photographer for it. RRP £189.
One winner will be selected at random from all valid entries on Monday 2 November 2026. The winner will be contacted by direct message from the official @inchelsealondon account only. If the winner does not respond within 7 days, a new winner will be drawn.
