Tickets are now on sale for London’s most dynamic arts and culture festival returns, with a multidisciplinary lineup of artists, speakers, performers, and visionaries, outdoor performances, and bustling food & arts markets.
This year marks 50 years since Punk exploded on the King’s Road in 1976. On Friday 18 September, Saatchi Gallery hosts ‘A Night of T/Reason’ featuring key voices from the time, and a new generation influenced by Punk’s legacy, Speakers include renowned writer Chris Salewicz, designer and DJ Edie Ashley, fashion pioneer Lloyd Johnson, founder of the Fashion School Caroline Gration, founder of the Rock n Roll Public Library Lauren Jones and award-winning filmmaker Celeste Bell, custodian of her mother Poly Styrene’s archive. Intimate portraits from the Punk era, by photographer Jane Ashley will be displayed at the event.
At Cadogan Hall, iconic and ever innovative dance company Rambert brings work from its centenary programme ‘This Is Rambert’ to Cadogan Hall, in honour of their centenary year. Plus visionary designer, muse and entrepreneur Susie Cave joins Bella Freud in conversation for a special event centred around new book SUSIE, an exquisite visual and lyrical portrait of Susie Cave. SUSIE unites the creative talents of four icons - celebrated writer and musician Nick Cave, renowned photographer Dominique Issermann, superstar designer Irma Boom and Susie Cave herself.
