In between your hunt for the perfect Christmas gifts this season, enjoy some Christmas magic and get a little creative with Jo Malone London’s festive Christmas Cracker Workshop.

Fill your cracker with a Christmas joke, chocolate treat and a 9ml Cologne of your choice before customising it with your initials whilst you enjoy festive fizz and indulgent treats in-store.

60-minute workshops will take place on 22 and 23 November 2019 in store from 10am-6pm.

Christmas Gift Bag Making Workshop

Join The Fashion School for three hours of making luscious gift bags for Christmas that are almost presents in themselves!

Perfect for beginners and available in various sizes to make – not forgetting the bottle bag too (a perfect fit for fizz).

You will learn how to make a beautiful sustainable alternative to gift wrap – something you can announce, “I made it myself!” when presenting your gift.

Using luxe silk viscose velvet, organic bamboo wadding, Liberty print silks and pure silk satin ribbon, beautiful materials ensure the bags can be lovingly re-used throughout festive seasons to come.

Enjoy a glass of prosecco (or cup of tea) in this morning workshop on 17 November from 10am-1pm. Tickets cost £85 per person and include all fabrics and trimmings.

Heralding Spring

Between 27 January and 4 February, join in the reopening of the Chelsea Physic Garden after a long, dark winter to herald in the spring.

Their ‘Heralding Spring’ programme is filled with exciting talks, walks and workshops including the usual Snowdrop Trail and theatre along with other early spring blooms. You will be able to take away some spring flowering plants for your own garden too by purchasing Snowdrop bulbs, of which there is a variety of over 50, and other cuttings from plants in the garden.

  • Sunday 28 January – ‘The Wonderful World of Snowdrops’ talk and tour with Joe Sharman from Monk Silver Nurseries
  • Thursday 1 February – ‘Behind the scenes tour’ with Glasshouse manager, Joe Bassett
  • Saturday 3 & Sunday 4 February – Heralding Spring tour with Head Gardener, Nell Jones
  • Saturday 3 February – ‘Photographing Winter Flowers’ workshop with Sue Bishop
  • Sunday 4 February – ‘The Magic of Hellebores’ illustrated talk with Edward Flint
