Terry O’Neil: Rare & Unseen

From now until January 2019, visit Iconic Images gallery for an exclusive preview of one of the world’s most collected photographers, Terry O’Neil.

Every photographer has their own private collection of original and vintage prints; their most prized possessions, these photographs are the first foray into the dark room with a roll of film that revealed the triumph – and disasters – of their assignments.

This exhibition is an exhilarating display of Terry O’Neil’s most celebrated images collected over the length of his career. Expect to see some of his most iconic images, but also experience a unique insight into some of the photographers own most rare and valuable images, many displayed and offered to collectors for the first time.

Some of the photographs are one-of-a-kind master prints which were developed within hours of the event taking place. These include The Beatles boarding their plane to fly to New York for their first appearance on the Ed Sullivan show, the show that would catapult them onto the global stage and watched by 73 million Americans; Liza Minnelli appearing on stage for the first time with her mother Judy Garland; or a chance meeting between the actors Paul Newman and Clint Eastwood at  a motel in Arizona.
