After months of purchases being limited to that of essential items only, the simple please of shopping for luxurious (in)essentials has once again been permitted – Sloane Street’s luxury fashion boutiques reopened their doors on 15 June 2020.
Drawing on their experiences across Europe, luxury brands including Hermes, Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton and Fendi have put in place a range of unique and carefully considered measures that prioritise the health and wellbeing of staff and visitors. Exceptional customer experience is at the heart of the Sloane Street experience and returning clients can be confident that they will be looked after; from directional pavement vinyls in keeping with the character of the area to being provided with branded hand gel on arrival made in the in the Maisons’ own perfume factories.
Many have reduced opening hours and are open at a reduced capacity to ensure social distancing can be maintained between you and the staff. VIP services will be offered to everyone; private one-to-one appointments both inside and outside the store opening hours should you prefer a more intimate and personal experience with the brand.
Chauffeur services are also provided by some of the boutiques, and kerbside collection is available, allowing for contactless delivery – waiting cars may pause for up to 20 minutes on the Street’s single yellow lines. Additionally, home delivery within London will also be a new service offered by the brands and some even offering consignment service whereby a curated edit of products can be delivered and customers only charged for those they keep.
Less densely populated than more centrally located shopping areas, Sloane Street is a delightfully uncrowded one-kilometre long stretch of the world’s most exclusive and luxury boutiques. With its wider than average pavements and spacious layout, Sloane Street is uniquely and naturally conducive to social distancing.
We look forward to welcoming you back soon.
