This extraordinary exhibition will be a must-see this summer. Frida Kahlo: Making Herself Up presents a collection of personal artefacts and clothing belonging to the iconic Mexican artist, Frida Kahlo.
After her death in 1954 aged 46, Diego Rivera locked up her belongings in a room and said it should not be opened until after his death. It was not opened until 2004 and this is the first time the incredible collection from that room will be on display outside of Mexico.
Expect to see clothes, jewellery, makeup and a defiantly red-leather-booted prosthetic leg which highlight her energy and the vitality with which she lived her life.
Tickets cost £15 (concessions apply) and there keep a look out for events, talks and workshops across its opening months. Book here.
