Celebrating New Year in Chelsea
As the end of 2017 draws closer, it is nearly time to start thinking about how you will be welcoming in the New Year. We can think of no better place than Chelsea to start 2018 and have shortlisted some of the most fabulous celebrations in the area.
Enjoy a classical concert bound together with stand-up comedy at Cadogan Hall as Rainer Hersch, from BBC 4 and Classic FM takes to the stage. Presenting his very own orchestra of madcap virtuosos, Rainer will ensure that you welcome in the New Year with an unforgettable evening of laughter and music.
A local favourite, Bluebird, is hosting an evening of glitz and glamour. Feast on the finest foods and drink, dust off those dancing shoes and dance until the early hours to an incredible DJ and live band. With the dress code as ‘Glamorous’, this will be a truly memorable and sparkle filled New Year’s Eve. Tickets cost £150pp.
Further down the King’s Road is Beaufort House who will be hosting another New Year’s Eve extravaganza. Their evening of glitz and glamour will commence at 7pm starting with an indulgent five course menu boasting dishes including lobster ravioli bisque, fillet of beef and a delicious trio of deserts. Dress code is black tie with a hint of gold so pull on your party outfit and head there for a celebration with the bubbles flowing, dinner, dancing and DJs on every floor. Tickets for dinner cost £75pp and party only tickets cost £30pp.
If you’ve been to the Natural History Museum recently, a tiny bit further out of Chelsea, you might have seen Hope, their new Blue Whale. She has been the inspiration behind their Under The Seas Bash to welcome in 2018. Hosted in collaboration with Guilty Pleasures, the UK’s biggest and boldest celebration of contemporary and retro pop, the event will transport you into an underwater fairytale. Take part in the silent disco, musical bingo and even create your own message in a bottle whilst sipping on sea-themed cocktails. Tickets are £129pp or £116 for members.
