Valentine’s Day in Chelsea

Valentine’s Day offers an excellent reason to indulge – why not enjoy the best on locally,  from sampling gourmet treats at Partridges’ special themed Fine Food market to champagne tasting and celebrating the music of the Sixties?

Start the celebrations at the weekend with a trip to Duke of York Square to enjoy an especially romantic Fine Food Market on 11 February! Feast on mouth-watering Maldon oysters and champagne, and give into temptation with delicious heart shaped macaroons and Brazilian coconut truffles.

Gallery Mess’ popular bottomless brunch is the perfect excuse to relax together. Choose from bottomless Bloody Mary’s, prosecco or champagne and try the restaurant’s delicious selection of dishes, from Dorset crab salad to Nutella and mascarpone pancakes.

If you’re after an evening out instead, head to the Botanist for some Valentine’s drinks overlooking the Venus fountain on Sloane Square. The team has come together with the award-winning Chase Distillery to concoct a limited edition Valentine’s cocktail, appropriately named the Kiss Chase. With Chase pink grapefruit gin, Belsazar Rose Vermouth, lemon juice, vanilla and grenadine, it’s the perfect love potion to enjoy throughout February.

Local haunt Bluebird has an irresistible Pink Champagne tasting session on 9 February. Join Moet ambassador Ian McGee and sample some of the world’s finest rose champagnes, including Chandon Brut and Veuve Clicquot Rose. All guests will also receive a 20% discount on dinner reservations following the session – perfect!

And for something extra special, why not head to Cadogan Hall on 14 February for a toe tapping evening of fun? Join the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra for Everlasting Love, a celebration of all things sixties. Featuring classic tunes including God Only Knows and At Last, it’s a great way to round off Valentine’s Day in romantic style.
