The Sloane Club has collaborated with Apollo, leading international art magazine, to host an art panel on 9 October to discuss Modern British Art in Chelsea and the impact it has had on the art world through the ages.
Book your tickets to the evening conversation which explores how the surrounding area of the Sloane Club has provided inspiration, and entertainment, to artists from the fin de siècle to the present day. Join their expert panel to find out more about the lives of artists in Chelsea and how this distinctive part of London shaped their work, from Whistler to Sargent in the late 19 Century to Francis Bacon in ’30sa, and from the artists and designers who congregated around the King’s Road in ’60s to the contemporary artists who still have studios in the area today.
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 020 7730 9131 to reserve your spot. Tickets cost £30pp and include a drinks and canapés reception.
